
The Horseshoe Bar Ranch on the John Day River, Oregon runs for over 12 miles along the John Day River. Wild steelhead migrate upstream in late fall and winter. During the spring and summer the smallmouth bass fishing is excellent and is a great way to introduce the young and inexperienced anglers to fishing. It's not uncommon for an angler to land over 50 to 100 smallmouth bass in a day. The John Day River is arguably the best smallmouth bass fishing in the Western United States.
The Lodge and Cabins are on the banks of the John Day with easy access for all anglers.
